About Us
Nyakato Lutheran College is located at Mwanza region, Ilemela district. It started in 2010. Initially it was a centre for T.E.E (Theological Education by Extension) under the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania East of Lake Victoria Diocese established in 1993..
Vision- To be a Center of excellence in education, producing transformative leaders for holistic service.
- To provide quality and relevant education rooted in Christian values, equipping students with knowledge, skills, and character to effectively serve in church, communities, and developmentsectors.
Nyakato Lutheran College is a Christian-based institution owned and operated by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT) – East of Lake Victoria Diocese. The college is committed to providing high-quality, values-driven education that integrates faith, knowledge, and service. Our academic focus is in Community Development and Theological Studies, with a vision to empower competent and transformative leaders for both church and society. The college is registered and accredited by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) with REG/NACTE VET/1161 and adheres to all national quality standards.
